How the VigorBuy link converter works
VigorBuy's links put a marketplace number in the path (2 for Weidian, 1 for Taobao, 0 for 1688), followed by the item number. The converter maps any agent's link onto that, so the item and the seller stay exactly the same.
An agent link is a wrapper around a marketplace listing. This agent link converter unwraps whatever you paste back to the original Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing, then rebuilds it in VigorBuy's own format. The item and the seller are the same either way; only the agent doing the buying changes. VigorBuy links look like vigorbuy.com/product/2/….

on Weidian, weidian.com/item.html?itemID=7655613788, becomes vigorbuy.com/product/2/7655613788 on VigorBuy:
the same seller and the same item, with only the agent doing the buying changed.

Does the converter keep someone else's referral code?
No. Referral codes inside a link you paste are stripped out, and the converted link carries this site's own code instead (that is how the site is paid; your price is the same). The item is the same listing either way.
